"Mind, Body & Spirit"
Patanjali,
the author of the Yoga Sutras, described the eight aspects of yoga as
limbs of a tree:
yama
- ethical disciplines; pratyahara
- sense withdrawal; niyama -
self observation; dharana -
concentration; asana -
posture; dhyana - meditation; pranayama - breath control; samadhi - a state of joy and peace.

"Yoga Sessions, Courses & Therapy"
Yoga is for people of all ages, all abilities and all body types.
Whether you are an athlete in tip-top shape or just getting in shape,
whether you are extremely flexible or extremely stiff, or whether you
are recovering from injuries or injury free, you will be able to find
something in yoga to enjoy from the moment you begin.
Perhaps you have tight hamstrings,
but a lot of upper body strength; or maybe, a stiff back but flexible
shoulders. Part of the fun of yoga is discovering what is unique about
your body and finding a yoga practice that is suitable for you.
You may start with Ashtanga Yoga
Level 1 for complete beginners or Level 2 classes if you have some
experience of yoga. Then should you wish, steadily progress to
intermediate and advanced level classes.
Hatha Yoga, also known as traditional
yoga, offers a variety of asanas (postures), pranayama (breath control)
and dhyana (meditation techniques).
